New Beginnings in 2023!!!

Congratulations! You’ve safely crossed over into 2023👏👏👏🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉 Welcome to my space and thank you for time and attention, much appreciated 🙏

Don’t you just love the newness of new things? Be it a new day, new week, new month, new season, new clothes, new location, new job, new adventure, new opportunity, new gadget, new relationship; there’s always this sense of renewal and the promise of greater things ahead that accompanies newness. I’m so excited about this new year of Renewal and Newness in every area of my life, and I pray the same for you too🙏

I love the words of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Book of Luke 12:22-26 “And [Jesus] said to His disciples, Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious and troubled [with cares] about your life, as to what you will [have to] eat, or about your body, as to what you will [have to] wear. For life is more than food, and the body [more] than clothes. Observe and consider the ravens; for they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn; and [yet] God feeds them. Of how much more worth are you than the birds! And which of you by being overly anxious and troubled with cares can add a cubit to his stature or a moment [unit] of time to his age [the length of his life]? IF THEN YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO DO SUCH A LITTLE THING AS THAT, WHY ARE YOU ANXIOUS AND TROUBLED WITH CARES ABOUT THE REST?” [AMP] (emphasis mine to highlight the weight of Jesus’ words.., pause and let them sink in..)

As we journey forward in 2023, let us remember to not be anxious and troubled about our lives because God has already provided everything we need for life and for godliness, as He promised in the Book of 2 Peter 1:3, “For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] for life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue). [AMP]

In the Book of Philippians 4:6 we find another instruction and life nugget about not worrying about our lives: “Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition [definite requests], with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.” [AMP]

May you never lose hope in this new year!

May you never stop believing that anything is possible!

May you not be afraid to start something new this year, be it a new habit, new business, new exercise routine, new healthier way of living, a more positive attitude and outlook towards life; or maybe it’s not new but you’re thinking of improving on it, go ahead and start doing things differently!

May you never forget that God’s grace is sufficient for all your needs!

May you remember that you have the answers within you, don’t be afraid to look deeper within you and draw out the answers and solutions in you. #balanceispossible😉

May you remember that God delights in both hearing and answering your prayers if you pray in faith, doubting nothing, and in accordance with His will: 1 John 5:14-15 “And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him; [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us. And if (since) He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him.” [AMP]
